What Actually Happens in a Discovery Audit
Every engagement with Meszaros Administrative Solutions starts the same way: a free Discovery Audit. It's the single most common question I get, so here's exactly what it is, how it's scoped, and what happens next.
It's capped, on purpose
A Discovery Audit is a 60–90 minute session, deliberately capped in both time and scope to one pain point you identify up front. It's not an open-ended free consulting session — it's a focused look at the single issue that matters most to you right now, whether that's a chaotic expense process, a compliance gap, or an onboarding system that doesn't exist yet.
Before we talk
I review whatever existing documents or systems you can share ahead of time — spreadsheets, policies, process notes, whatever you've got, including nothing at all. Half the value of the audit comes from seeing how things actually work today, not just hearing about it secondhand.
During the session
The audit itself is an interview, not a pitch. I ask about how your organization actually runs day to day: who does what, where things break down, what's been patched together, and what leadership's real priority is. The goal is understanding the problem precisely enough to solve it correctly the first time.
What you walk away with
Two things come out of every Discovery Audit: an internal findings summary that captures what I learned, and a client-facing proposal outlining exactly what I'd build or manage, how it would work, and what it would cost — scoped to the specific tier (build, ongoing management, or project-based) that fits.
There's no pressure and no obligation. If it's not a fit, you keep the findings and walk away with a clearer picture of the problem regardless.
Why it's free
Because the fastest way to know whether an engagement makes sense — for both of us — is to actually look at the problem together, not guess from a sales call.
